ARU Control Unit / Transmitter

Basic building block of our system is the control unit AM/ST.

At pure monitoring tasks, AM/ST takes over the driving of the probes and the treatment of measurement results. The probes are automatically calibrated, limit values can be set and monitored.

At Control tasks AM/ST is additionally taking over the calculation of necessary parameters as a combination of transmitter and control unit and will drive the optimal dosing amount.

Integration into existing process control systems is always possible, analog as well as via bus systems.
Versions without bus connection are supplied with separate touch panel control unit.

Probes

Our probes are made almost exclusively of PVC and glass. These materials are very robust, easy to edit, inexpensive and very durable for the most applications. The probes are waterproof sealed and available with connectors or loose cable ends.

Transmitted Light Probes

Transmitted light probes consist of two units, a transmitter with LED and a receiver with a photodiode. With them, the transmission or the absorbance of light, passing through the medium is measured. Depending on the application, ultra bright white, blue or infrared LED are used. Colour sensors can be used for certain applications. For automatic calibration of the probes the LED brightness and the photodiode sensitivity is adjusted.

Reflected Light Probes

Reflected light probes consist of one unit with lamp and receiver. The light reflected or absorbed by the media is measured. Depending on the application, ultra bright white, blue or infrared LED are used. Colour sensors can be used for certain applications. For automatic calibration of the probes the LED brightness and the photodiode sensitivity is adjusted.

Contactless Probes

A vertical free beam of the medium is created using special probe mounting systems. The optics of the probe do not touch the medium so that a pollution of the probes is almost excluded. The probe mounting system can be fitted both, with transmitted light probes and/or reflected light probes.
