Low-maintenance measuring technique
Deutsche Version

The properties of the media can be measured with different optical techniques. Measurements in the main stream and measurements in bypass lines can be used.

Transmitted light measurement

If the media are translucent, the transmitted light measurement is used. Thus, changes of the transmission, the extinction or the colouring of the media can be measured.

Transmitted light probe

Reflected light measurement

If the media are not translucent, the reflected light measurement is used. Here, the changes of reflection, the degree of blackness or the colour of the media can be measured.

Reflected light probe, contactless

Contactless measurement

The illuminated media often tend to incrustations, oil and fatty deposits or they are strongly abrasive. With our non-contact measuring devices, maintenance and cleaning is reduced to a minimum. Transmitted light or reflected light measurements can be used, as well as combinations of both.
