Automatic precipitation / flocculation

In many processes in wastewater technology precipitants, coagulants and flocculants are to be dosed. The addition of chemicals is used to transfer unwanted water ingredients in a procedurally separable form. Target of dosage is a consistently optimal water quality. In most cases, one can optimize the dosing quantity by evaluating the optical properties of the treated media.

Automatic splitting of emulsions

Splitting emulsions with organic demulsifiers manages only optimally, when the amount of dosed demulsifiers is neither to high nor to low. The evaluation of the optical properties of the treated emulsions, enables an optimized dosing and thus a permanently good quality of the water phase.

Automatic flocculant dosing at dewatering centrifuges

The accumulated surplus sludge of biological wastewater treatment plants is often drained with continuously operating centrifuges. The dry matter level of dewatered sludge and the quality of the centrate is strongly dependent on the dosing quantity of the established flocculants. The evaluation of the optical properties of the centrate  can be used to optimize the flocculant dosage. Our measurement technology is able to distinguish between overdose and lower dosage.

Effluent monitoring of water treatment plants

In many cases it is necessary to control the quality of the effluent after separation of the undesirable ingredients. Conventional turbidity measurements are often too sensitive, ensuring a low-maintenance control. Our non contact measuring systems secure a permanent and low-maintenance quality control of your effluents.

Quality control of washing and rinsing water

The control of pollution of washing and rinsing water is becoming increasingly important in the production. The continuous optical monitoring of the media ensures consistent quality in production.
